*Huli will not be supplied if there is a mixed rice given in the menu.
The Quantities may vary for Saru and Huli due to loss during Transit/Delivery.
Is there a special menu?

Yes. On festival days the menu will have a dessert and fried food instead of Chapati and sambar

Will the food be spicy?

The food is palatable not spicy.

Will the food be delivered hot?

The breakfast and Lunch is prepared at 7am and 9am respectively, offered to Lord Krishna and then delivered between 8.00 am to 9.30 am and 11.30am to 1.30pm respectively.

Will the menu be customized?

Regular menu will not be customised, Special menu can be customised according to Individual/Personal specifications.

Is hygiene maintained at the premises of cooking?

Yes. The Vandyam team will ensure that the highest level of hygiene is maintained during preparation and distribution process. Hygiene and Nutrition are utmost priorities for us at Vandyam.

Is the food Sattvic?

Yes. The main purpose of Vandyam is to provide Sattvic food. Therefore, vegetables like drumstick, garlic, onion, brinjal etc are not used for cooking

Is food delivered on the day of Ekadashi?

On Ekadashi, the menu will include tiffin items like upma, avalakki (poha), Shavige, Idly etc. The Ekadashi will be observed as per the Uttaradi Mutt Panchangam.

Is the food delivered early on Dwadashi day?

Food will be delivered as per normal delivery schedules.

Will a separate menu be available during the Chaturmasa months?

As of now, the same normal menu will be served. We are actively striving to get this menu started in 2020 as per the desire we see amongst our customers

Can we visit the cooking venue?

You are welcome to visit the premises where food is cooked with prior intimation.

Can an order be placed for one/multiple days?

Yes, We accept orders for one/Multiple days

Can an order be canceled? If yes, by when?

Yes, Breakfast morning 07.00 am, Lunch 08.30 am and for dinner 4.00 pm will be the cut-off time for cancellation of order. Maximum of two cancellations will be considered in a month.

Will you take additional meal order? If yes, what is the cut off time?

Additional meal orders are welcome latest by 10.00 am.

Delivery

How is the food packed for delivery?

Food is packed in a steel tiffin box provided by Vandyam which is left with the customer. The cleansed box is collected the next day during the delivery.

What time is the food delivered?

Breakfast will be delivered between 8.30am to 9.30 am

Lunch will be delivered between 12.00pm to 1.30 pm

Dinner will be delivered between 06.30 pm to 8.30 pm

Will any delays be intimated?

Depending on the location, route & traffic, food would be delivered between 8.30am to 9.30am and 12.00 pm - 1.30 pm for breakfast and Lunch respectively. However, Vandyam strive hard to be prompt regarding the delivery time. Unexpected delays due to traffic are not in our control. We have back-up plans in case of problems with the vehicle etc. Big delays will be intimated via SMS or phone call.

How to identify the delivery person?

The delivery person will be wearing Vandyam ID Card.

Will the delivery person wait at the customer's place if needed?

Owing to the tight delivery schedules, the delivery person will not wait at the customer place. Customers need to notify a place where the tiffin boxes can be kept. Else the customers will have to make alternate arrangements for pick-up

How is the delivery acknowledged?

After receiving the meal box, the customer has to sign in the order list given by the delivery person along with the time of delivery.

Is the delivery vehicle clean enough to carry food?

Yes. The vehicle is cleaned by the cleaning staff every day.

Payments

What is the mode of payment?

Customers can pay via PayTm, Google Pay(Bank Transfer option), Cash on Delivery, pay by cheque or transfer money online through NEFT/RTGS/IMPS.

Electronic transfer/Cash/Cheque is accepted latest at the time of the delivery on the first day, for the rest of the week/month in advance.

For any form of online payments, you are requested to send a screenshot of payment made to our Whatsapp number +9108479474.

In case of cancellation for a day after the payment, can we order on a later date?

Yes. Morning 8.30 am, will be the cut-off time for cancellation of order. Maximum of two cancellations will be considered in a month.

Is there any deposit to be paid by the customer? Is it refundable?

Deposit of Rs.1000 needs to be paid per box which is refundable on discontinuation of Service.

The pricing of the food has been done with a purpose to serve the society. There is no motive to earn profit from this activity.
